CHALLENGE your friends, colleagues, teachers, competitors, parents, kids, or whoever you like (or dislike) to a game of Canada’s national winter sport. Each challenge is refereed and is 50 minutes long. If you cannot find a team to challenge – just let us know and we’ll set up a challenge for you.
WINNERS have bragging rights for the year!
LOSERS get to strategize about next year’s re-match.
Each team will receive vouchers for food and/or beverages (based on winners & losers) at the Draught Picks (formerly Pub 101) restaurant (in the Sleeman Centre) after their game.
THE GOAL: to raise funds in support of Rotary Community Children and Youth Programs and other Rotary supported programs.
Each team member is asked to solicit donations and each team is asked to target a minimum donation goal of $1,500. Draw prizes are based on the donation dollars raised – so the more funds you and your team raise – the greater your chance of winning!
The Top four fundraising TEAMS win a night in a box at the Guelph Storm game versus the Kitchener Rangers in the fall of 2012 AND every $100 raised entitles the player to an entry ballot for fabulous draw prizes.
Your collections must be brought to your game to count towards your team’s eligibility for the grand prize.
Come out and show your support for:
- Hospice Wellington
- Sunrise Therapeutic Riding & Learning Centre
Check out the Rotary Club of Guelph’s website for more details.
