Landmade captures the imagination of landscape in Canadian art in all its diversity and how that representation reflects changing politics of space and nationhood. Drawing from over a century of work represented in the Art Gallery of Guelph collection as well as that of contemporary artists, the exhibition offers an inclusive perspective on the differing “lands” manifest in Canadian art and the deeply social dimensions of representation.

Organized by the Art Gallery of Guelph with the support of the Ontario Arts Council and Canada Council for the Arts.
