This being our 5th Anniversary season we are planning special events: the opening of our Sculpture Park and a contest to name the Members’ new show. Beginning May 14th Downtown Guelph will be promoting our Spring Basket contest.
18 downtown businesses are participating in this annual promotion with the offer of one ballot per customer.
Each ballot collected has a chance to win a Spring Basket valued at over $1,000 in downtown merchandise, and decorated by Heather at Creative Edge.
The winner will be announced during the Fourth Friday concert, 7pm in St. George’s Square on May 25th, 2012.

Walk for Dog Guides
The Purina® Walk for Dog Guides is a national fundraising walk held in more than 250 communities across Canada. It raises funds to help train Dog Guides for Canadians with visual, hearing, medical or physical disabilities. Each Walk is organized by local volunteers with support from Lions Foundation of Canada. To date the Walks have collectively raised more than $7 million. This year’s national Walk date is Sunday, May 27th, 2012, with some communities hosting Walks at other times.
