I recently celebrated my 20th year in Real Estate sales. During these two decades with Royal Lepage, I have witnessed lots of changes in the real estate market. But what I find most gratifying about my career in Real Estate, is the continual support of the people around me. I have been blessed with amazing family members, friends, business associates and clients. Their support in the growth of my business has been completely overwhelming and I am honoured with their confidence in my ability and ultimately in the referrals of their friends and family that they send my way.
To say "thank you", I arranged for an amazing morning with a private screening of 'SHREK THE THIRD' just for them ... my friends and clients, to say "thank you" in person.
Over 250 people including very excited children enjoyed the movie as well as a visit from 'SHREK' himself! I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures of this fun event, I really appreciated those who were able to attend and hope you all had a wonderful time. For those who were unable to make it, I hope we will have another chance to get together.
In addition to having a fun filled time with all my clients, donations were given by my guests and over $400.00 was raised for Wyndham House a local Guelph charity of which I am President.

A Guelph sampling of worthy endeavours:

Maria is originally from Guelph and has made it her permanent home. She has a beautiful studio downtown Guelph on Woolwich Street overlooking an amazing city scape including the Speed River. WINNER OF THE GUELPH SPRING FESTIVAL COMPETITION
- July 2002
Daniel Cabena is a student at Wilfrid Laurier University where he studies voice with professor Daniel Lichti. He is an active choral singer, having sung with Vox Ex Corde, Tactus Vocal Ensemble, and La Chapelle de Quebec, under the direction of Bernard Labadie. He has appeared as a soloist with the Elora Festival Singers under the direction of Noel Edison, the Brampton Festival Singers under the direction of Chris Fischer, and the Arbor Oak Trio under the direction of Lawrence Beckwith. This year Daniel was awarded the Gladys Whitehead memorial scholarship and won first prize in the Guelph Spring Festival Competition.
WithGia.com posed some questions to Daniel:
Daniel, what gives you passion? - The energy and wisdom of others as expressed through music, poetry, art, living and loving.
Is there anything that you like to research? - I'm very interested in musicology in general. I have a particular interest in the history of early liturgical music. I'd also love to learn more about American literature and occult wisdom.
And, Daniel, what do you like about Guelph? - I love the sense of community and beauty of the city. As a house painter, I get to see much of Guelph's architectural beauty close-up.
